Care Packs:

Care Packs are more than a collection of items and a way to carry them. When children are removed from their homes by CPS due to neglect or abuse, many times they are given a trash bag to put their things in . This can make them feel as disposable as the bag.

Care packs given to them during this time of hopelessness provides not only a new backpack but hygiene items, art & crafts supplies and age appropriate toys. New items of their own as they transition into foster care gives the message they are worth caring about and they deserve special things.
